Approximately 63,000 people were fed; victims and recovery teams were housed in the church before the operation moved to the Spruce Pine Disaster Rebuild Center. The victims of the flood were relocated to other accommodations after a time. We housed only the volunteer teams for rebuild projects towards the end of that project.
We housed victims and Baptist on Mission teams, as well as other groups, for both rescue, recovery, and rebuild efforts.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD COLLECTION WEEK HAPPENED IN THE BASEMENT WHILE DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS CONTINUED.
Our church filled the shoeboxes in any available area to set out our items for packing while the collection was taking place. God provided the spaces and the places within the building so that we could meet His Mission. Praise God!

Footbridge Ministry, a Christian group of Dental professionals, held a free dental clinic in August. They cleaned teeth, performed fillings, crowns, bridges, partial dentures, and general dental work. Local Dental professionals also volunteered assisting the group.
